October 15th_World Anatomy Day

At the 19th IFAA Congress held in London in August 2019, the Anatomical Sciences of each country jointly proposed the October 15th of each year as the World Anatomy Day. Because Vesalius, the father of anatomy, died on this day of 1564.

World Anatomy Day requires IFAA members to arrange their own activities: for example, public lectures, media campaigns, and news events, etc.
